HOW IT WORKS

Choose track 1 or track 2 for one year (eg start 15 October 2011 and end 14 October 2012)

You can start any week of the year as per the schedule

You can attend any and all courses – as many times as you like – must book dates (but preference given to students who wish to attend first time around).

Price includes – training for up to 40 weeks, free evaluation software where available, certificates of attendance, certificate of mastery (based on practical assessment), books, student discount on international exams (applies to track 1, as track 2 does not need exams), free internet before course and during lunch break)

Price excludes – international exams, refreshments, meals, stationery, full licensed software

Course times 9am to 3:30/4pm daily (Monday to Friday)

Once fee is paid, there are no additional course costs for the year, except for international certification exams for those who wish to take them (applies to track 1 only)

Students may repeat any class as many times as suits their schedule in the period of 2012, subject to booking

- Instructor-lead courses (max 12 in a class with a trainer)

- Practical labs done in class with instructor

Upfront payment price for track 1 and track 2

R50,000 for the year – early payment discounts available (see below)

Early payment discount – pay at least three months before first course taken
(30% discount ie pay R35,000)

Early payment discount – pay at least two months before first course taken
(20% discount ie pay R40,000)

Early payment discount – pay at least one month before first course taken
(10% discount ie pay R45,000)

Special School Discounts for 2011
Each school in South Africa has been allocated a specific school discount code – valid for bookings made before 30 October 2011. Please ask your school to supply you with the code to qualify for your additional discount (applies to all students for all courses and packages).
If your school is unable to supply the discount code, please send an email to gapyear@2ko.co.za and we will send you the discount code. You can also sms your name, the track you want plus your school to 082 338 1503 e.g. "john Williams track 2 wynberg boys" and we will contact you with your discount code. |

Applications for sponsorship / scholarships / discounts
We have a very limited number of scholarships and bursaries available. Parents who would like their sons or daughters to attend, but are unable to afford the full fees, can apply for a scholarship (up to 50% discount) or for a bursary (zero course fees). Parents will need to submit a motivational letter and meet our admissions committee to explain their requirements.
Scholarship selection is based on Senior/High School cumulative grade point average, financial need, community and leadership activities, and motivational letter. |

Payment terms price for Track 1 and Track 2
Payment terms are available for students wishing to pay in instalments
- Price for terms – Entry deposit (R15,000 – can be paid in any number of instalments of any amount, and once the deposit of R10,000 has been paid, the student can start).
- This to be followed by three payments of R4000 monthly and then nine payments of R3000 monthly (by debit order)
